Embryonaut (“we,” “us”) builds and hosts software for clients. This policy covers this website, embryonaut.ai, and the Google sign-in we provide for sites and tools we operate. It says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. Sites we host for a client may have their own privacy policy, and that one governs the client’s site.
What we collect.
- The contact form. Your name, email address, and message. It reaches us by email through our email provider, and we use it only to reply to you.
- Signing in with Google. When you sign in to a site or tool we operate, Google shares your name, email address, and Google account identifier with us. We ask for no other Google data, and we never see your Google password.
- Routine request data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser type in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- On your device. The site keeps a small amount of playback state in your browser’s local storage so audio can resume between pages. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
This website has no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
How we use it.
- To answer the messages you send us.
- To recognize you when you sign in, and to apply the access that has been granted to you.
- To keep our sites secure and working.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or build profiles from it.
Google user data.
Embryonaut’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email, and account identifier only to sign you in and manage your access. We do not share them with anyone else, and we do not use them for advertising.
Who else sees it.
Only service providers that run our systems on our behalf: Cloudflare for hosting, our email provider for delivering contact messages, and Amazon Web Services for the sites and tools we operate. They may process your information only to provide that service. We disclose information to others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it.
Contact messages are kept while we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable time afterward. Sign-in records are kept while your access is active. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your choices.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Email team@embryonaut.ai and we will reply within one business day. To stop Google sign-in from working with us, you can also remove Embryonaut’s access from your Google Account’s security settings.
Children.
Our site and tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes.
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
